# IdiCap

> IDITAC's automatic decapper and recapper for vials and tubes with screw caps, silicone stoppers or vacuum caps. Interchangeable tooling and API integration.

Screw caps, silicone stoppers and vacuum-tube caps. Retains the cap for recapping or discards it, with the same instrument.

## Your vials. Your workflow.

Interchangeable vial gripper and decapping head, in four sets. Beyond the catalog formats, you can use your own vial: enter its measurements and the instrument checks whether it fits the mounted tooling.

## What people usually ask us

### Which caps can IdiCap remove?

Screw caps, press-fit silicone stoppers and the caps of vacuum blood-collection tubes, with the same instrument.

### Can it recap the same vial?

Yes. It holds the cap while you process the sample and puts it back on the same vial. If you do not need it, it drops the cap into a tray.

### Which vial sizes does it take?

With the standard tooling, bodies of 15 to 35 mm in diameter, or 14.5 to 25 mm for vacuum tubes, and screw caps of 18 to 30 mm or 32 to 45 mm.

### What if my vial is not in the catalog?

You can set it up from its measurements and the instrument checks whether it fits the mounted tooling. If it is out of range, we design the gripper or head it needs.

### Can it be integrated with a robot or my own system?

Yes. It takes manual or robotic loading, with a single loading position for every format, and is controlled through REST API, MQTT and SSE.

### Does it need an internet connection?

No. It works on your local network over Ethernet and has its own web panel.
